Initium often joins an organization to support project implementation by coaching the existing management team.

The goal is to build a stronger executive body and transfer knowledge within the organization. At times, however, management does not have the bandwidth to undertake the effort, or the investors/Board want to bring in a management team with specific skills necessary to undertake a transition. In these situations, we can step in to assume either a temporary position designed to support the transition or to fill a vacant line function.

We are flexible regarding the length of time and focus primarily on establishing a duration that supports successful implementation of the project and includes the transition of a permanent staff member.

Transition Staffing

Engagement Examples

Case Histories

Many companies need external support because their organization is already resource constrained or they lack the right resource to get the job done. Initium assumes hands-on transition management roles to achieve specific results.

Typical roles address immediate needs:

  • Temporary position created to address the transition
  • Permanent position fractional time, usually resulting from needing senior management experience with less than 100% allocation
  • Permanent position full-time for a specified duration, usually resulting from a unique transition requirement

We assume executive positions as well as serve on boards of directors to represent interested parties and monitor corporate performance.
